Away from home in Germany, at a place that became at least temporarily some kind of home, I caught impressions from my surroundings by nitrofrottages of photographs. During a visit in Germany I did the same. This way two series of pictures from places where I feel at home were created.
Their fuzziness and the muted colours expresses the yearning memory of the place where I cannot be for the moment.
In the exhibition both series of pictures hung one above the other and they were connected by pieces of wire. Letters and postcards were stuck to them to visualise the exchange between both places.
